What she thinks others should know about food allergies: “I want people without food allergies to know how serious food allergies are. I want them to know that food is still unsafe when it says it “may contain” a food allergen. They need to know that there are different types of allergic reactions, and I think that knowing how to administer an EpiPen should be a part of basic first aid classes.”
